My name is Amber Ying. I am almost 39 years old, and I want to write a memoir.
But it’s way too bad that I have a traumatic brain injury and thus have the memory capacity of a sieve.
So blogging is the next best thing. I enjoy typing into the void. The void doesn’t comment much but I appreciate them reading what I wrote when they have the time. The void and I go a long way back.
If you haven’t noticed, let me assuage your fears: Yes, I just wrote that, and yes, I am very weird.
I am also a bisexual queer non-binary woman who is Taiwanese American and reads I Ching. I work in biotech. I am a grassroots activist in Greater Boston. I am going to be married in two months. Life is busy but life is good. For now.
So nice to see you again, void. It’s nice writing again.
